Social Advertising for Porsche during the COVID Pandemic (2020)

Amidst the allure of the open road and the thrill of high-performance driving, Porsche faced a significant challenge during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the rapid spread of the virus, it became increasingly clear that promoting leisurely drives could inadvertently encourage unsafe behavior and potentially contribute to the transmission of the virus.

Balancing the brand's reputation for exhilarating driving experiences with a responsible message of safety became paramount. Porsche needed to find a way to engage its audience without promoting activities that could endanger public health.

To address this challenge, Porsche collaborated with Clear where we developed a short but impactful video production that conveyed a powerful message: while Porsche represents driving at its finest, the current circumstances required a shift in priorities. Clear utilized its understanding of abstract film making techniques to craft a compelling narrative that resonated with viewers.

By emphasizing the importance of staying home and staying safe, the video effectively communicated Porsche's commitment to responsible behavior during the pandemic while maintaining brand identity.
